Brand identity is the outward expression of a brand. It is a reflection of how a brand wishes to be perceived by consumers.
Perception and recognition of a brand is heavily influenced by its visual communication, be it a companies website, brochures, advertising, etc. Consistent use of an appropriate visual style will reinforce the brand's values and create distinction from it's competitors.
Although a logo is important, it is only one element of a brand's visual identity. To create an effective visual identity, careful consideration should also be given to fonts, colours, secondary graphic elements and the use and style of any images.
The design process generally includes the following stages:
• Briefing - Identifying a client's needs and ascertaining the target audience.
• Research - Analysis of existing branding, competitors and market trends.
• Concepts - Presentation of possible design options to the client.
• Development - Implementation of client feedback for chosen option.
• Artworking - Preparation of final artwork for printer or web developer.
• Production - Management and quality control of production.
• Support - Providing ongoing help and advice after project completion.
During the course of the project the client will receive design visuals as printed sheets or as PDF files.
Final deliverables will vary for each project, but in general, clients will receive final artwork which is ready for use by a printer. Artwork will be provided in various industry standard formats. I am also happy to accommodate any other specific file format requirements should they be needed.
Timescales will vary for each project, however, if you have a deadline in mind I will endeavour to accommodate it. Please contact me with details of your project and I can then provide an estimate for the timescale of completion. Please click here to contact me.

Yes. I have a number of printers and suppliers that I work with regularly, providing various production services to fit various budgets. Some clients prefer to manage production themselves, in which cases I will provide print-ready artwork either to the client or to their specified printer.
